   The density of PVC board varies from 1.4 to 1.85. The lower the density, the better the quality and plasticity. The density of the polyvinyl chloride foam board varies from 0.4 to 0.7.
  PVC board has outstanding waterproof performance, no waterproof layer, wind and earthquake resistance, and is very reliable in high-rise buildings and coastal areas. It is rich in colors, novel in personality, and has strong acid and alkali resistance, fire resistance, and heat insulation performance.
   PVC board performance:
   1. General performance Polyvinyl chloride resin is a white or light yellow powder with a relative density of 1.35-1.45. The hardness of the product can be adjusted by adding the plasticizer of the PVC transparent board. Pure PVC has low water absorption and air permeability.
   2. Mechanical properties PVC board has high hardness and mechanical properties. It increases with the increase of molecular weight, but decreases with the increase of temperature. Rigid PVC has good mechanical properties, and its elastic modulus can reach 1500-3000 MPa. The elasticity of soft PVC is 1.5-15 MPa. But the elongation at break is as high as 200%-450%. PVC has average friction, static friction coefficient 0.4-0.5, dynamic friction coefficient 0.23.
   3. Thermal performance Polyvinyl chloride has poor heat resistance. It starts to decompose at 140°C and the melting temperature is 160°C. PVC has low linear expansion coefficient, flame retardant, and oxidation index above 45.
  4. Electrical properties Polyvinyl chloride is a polymer with good electrical properties, but due to its high S property, its electrical insulation properties are not as good as polypropylene and polyethylene. Dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent, large volume resistivity, poor corona resistance, generally suitable for low- and low-frequency insulation materials.
   5. Environmental performance PVC board can resist most inorganic acids, alkalis, salts and most organic solvents. Suitable for anti-corrosion materials in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
